- Demolition derbies:Always one of our most popular events, the final days of the Fair will include five demolition derby shows, including everything from cars to motor-homes to Damsels of Destruction.
- Working Sheep and Dog Show: New to the 2019 OC Fair is this program featuring a real working farm dog shepherding unique miniature harlequin sheep. The show will highlight both animals' natural instincts and how herding has been ingrained into certain breeds.
- Camels and camel milk: Another popular yearly attraction are when the camels come to the OC Fair and show off their size, agility and personalities! Even more interesting is demonstrating that camels can be milked, with the milk being used for products such as soaps and lotions that are sold during the show.
- Learn about food, soap and more: There are some special demos happening in the OC Promenade Culinary Arts building you won't want to miss. Learn how to use those leftover peels and scraps with home cook Sara De Leeuw in a "Waste Not" demo on Aug. 7. Kids ages 9-17 will learn how to make herbal fizzy bath bombs in a one-hour class taught by sisters Jenn and Kris Lamchek on Aug. 9-10.
- What about wine?: The final OC Fair weekend will feature wine seminars at The Courtyard with tastings including OC Fair Gold Medal-winning wines and what kind of wines to pair with Fair food.
- Don't stop the music: Concerts at Pacific Amphitheatre during the final week include "Weird Al" Yankovic, George Thorogood, Lindsey Stirling, Live, Bush and concluding with the band America.
- Final week for discounts: The final We Care Wednesday, where guests receive free Fair admission by donating five new or gently used clothing items, is Aug. 7. Wednesday will also kick off First Responders and Law Enforcement Week, where active-duty and professional staff of the police, sheriff, fire and emergency services departments will receive free Fair admission. Thursday is the final Kids Day, when children 12 years and younger receive free Fair admission all day.
- We're giving away a free barn wedding! Our winning bride and groom have been chosen from our social media video contest and they'll say "I do" in front of 20 of their guests — plus the entire OC Fair! The wedding will take place at 1 p.m. on Aug. 10 and will include the ceremony, special entertainers and an unforgettable OC Fair experience!
