The meeting is free and open to the public. The agenda will include an overview of the significant projects (public and private) taking shape in Newport Beach this year, a public safety update, a review of Mayor Dixon’s goals for 2016, and time for residents to share their ideas about projects or programs they believe the City of Newport Beach should undertake this year.

Mayor Dixon (then Mayor Pro Tem) began hosting town hall meetings last year. They were generally focused on topics of interest to those that live or work on the Balboa Peninsula, Lido Isle, Newport Island and Bay Island. The meetings were well attended and fostered idea sharing between the City and residents. Mayor Dixon is broadening the focus of a number of the meetings this year to include topics of interest to residents throughout Newport Beach.
