A little boy, otherwise healthy, died from complications of the flu this week, according to OC Health Agency.

ORANGE COUNTY, CA — A toddler in Orange County died from complications of the flu in the county's first reported flu-related death of the season, Orange County Health officials reported.
The young boy was previously considered healthy, but died from complications related to influenza this week. Health officials said he was infected with influenza A. The toddler's exact age and city of residence were not released.
"This is an important reminder that influenza can cause serious illness, particularly in the very young," County Health Officer Dr. Eric Handler said. "Everyone over six months of age should be vaccinated each year."
