Trash Truck Fire Breaks Out In Newport Beach

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — A fire erupted in a trash truck traveling through a Newport Beach neighborhood Tuesday morning, authorities said.
The fire was reported near the intersection of Catalina and Holmwood drives, according to the Newport Beach Fire Department.

Upon arrival, firefighters found a vehicle with a smoking bed contained to the rear cargo area.
