Good Tuesday morning surfers I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Newport Beach Patch surf report. Well, it's basically back to small mode just about everywhere, with maybe a couple of playful waves coming through.
The conditions are starting off semi-clean, with some texture or bump on it at several spots. Taking a look at the waves, we've got a minor mixture of northwest energy and some continued fading leftover southerly swell.
That recipe is giving us some kinda soft sectiony lines, with a few fast corners, but you'll probably want to ride a small wave board of some sort! Most Newport Beach spots are pulling knee- to waist-high waves, with the focal points seeing maybe a couple plus sets.

Checking those tides, at 11:54 this morning the tide drains out to a 0.1 low which will have many spots lacking water mid-day. The tide then pushes back up to a 3.9 high at 6:45 this evening.
If you're going to get wet, break out at least a 3/2 fullsuit or even a 4/3 and maybe the booties, with the water temp taking a bit of a dip and averaging between 56 and 58 degrees. Good luck out there!!
