Twenty-nine percent of physicians said that if they were to leave their current practice, it most likely would be because it is hard to make their practice profitable, according to a survey by Wolters Kluwer Health.
Twenty-five percent of physicians said that if they were to leave their practice, it would be because it is time to retire, while 15% said it would be because the field is no longer rewarding and 11% said it would be because of health care reform.
Ten percent of physician respondents cited not having enough time to spend with patients as the reason they would leave their practice.
