UCP of Orange County’s Life Without Limits Golf Classic Raises Over $125K

UCP of Orange County's Life Without Limits Golf Classic is a Fundraising Success!

Orange County, Calif. (October 23, 2017) - UCP of Orange County (UCP-OC) held its 23rd Life Without Limits Autumn Golf Classic at Santa Ana Country Club on Monday, October 16. The popular fundraiser was attended by 116 golfers and generated $125,710 towards the nonprofit’s comprehensive services to more than 5,300 children and families with developmental disabilities including autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, developmental delay.

A special feature throughout the day was participation and interaction from children and families served by UCP-OC.

During the awards ceremony, parents Rita and RJ de Rama talked about how UCP-OC has been there for their family since they learned their son, Timmy, has CP.

Tournament co-chairs were Michael Marshall with FPH Capital Partners and Gerry Tieri of Advanced Imaging Solutions and committee members include Michele Maryott, Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher; Kate Craft, Nationwide; and Chris Deason, Voit Real Estate Services. UCP of Orange County (UCP-OC) helps children with disabilities reach their full potential and improves the quality of life for their families. Founded in 1953, UCP-OC was originally established to assist individuals of all ages affected by cerebral palsy. To meet a growing demand for children with a variety of disabilities, the organization broadened their programs and disability range to include autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and other developmental delays. Caregivers, specialists and therapists actively work with children and families through six comprehensive programs to provide support and resources for families to advocate for their children and meet demands of everyday life.
