Voting centers across the county have opened in preparation for Election Day March 5. Here's how to vote in Newport Beach.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — The time to cast your vote in the March 5 for the 2024 presidential primary election season, and voting centers across Orange County are opening their doors for residents hoping to cast an early ballot.

In Newport Beach, residents will vote on who they want to represent them in the California State Assembly, the senate and more.

There are dozens of vote centers opening this week in Orange County, where residents can cast their ballots, register to vote or find other help and resources. According to the OC Registrar, roughly 40 vote centers opened on Saturday and another 150 more will be open starting March 2.

According to the county, the first batch of vote centers will be open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through March 1. Once the second group of centers open, hours will change from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. until March 5, Election Day.

On Election Day, vote centers will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. For a full comprehensive list of vote centers across Orange County, visit the OC Registrar's website.

Residents who wish to submit their ballot sooner rather than later can visit an interactive map detailing the hours and locations of select vote centers.

Newport Beach residents can vote at the following locations come Election Day:

  • Newport Beach Civic Center, 100 Civic Center Dr.
    • Open now, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Marina Park Community Center, 2nd Floor, 1600 W Balboa Blvd.
    • Opens March 2.
  • Newport Coast Community Center (Drive Thru), 6401 San Joaquin Hills Rd.
    • Opens March 2.
  • Newport Dunes Resort and Marina, 1131 Back Bay Dr.
    • Opens March 2.
  • OASIS Senior Center (Corona Del Mar), 801 Narcissus Ave.
    • Opens March 2.
  • St. Mark Presbyterian Church, 2200 San Joaquin Hills Rd.
    • Opens March 2.
