Want To Participate In City Government? Be A Newport Beach Trustee

The City Council is always looking for qualified electors of the city to serve in these trustee positions. Here's what's open:

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Many Newport Beach citizens give their time to assist and advise the City Council on issues facing the legislative body. Residents of the City that are interested in volunteer opportunities can apply to serve on a Board, Commission or Committee.

For residents who love their city and want to see it thrive, The City of Newport Beach is accepting applications to fill the following upcoming vacancies on its boards and commissions:

Applications will be accepted until Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at noon.

"All seats will become vacant when the existing terms expire on June 30, 2017," the city said over their website. "All applicants must be qualified electors of the City, none of whom shall hold any paid office or employment in City government (Section 702 of the City Charter)."
