Wave Check: Monday

We're seeing mostly small energy!

Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report.  Well, you're definitely not going to find any sizeable surf out there, that's for sure, but if you like the smaller stuff, then it might be worth grabbing a session.

The conditions are starting off fairly clean, with some spots seeing some texture on the surface and don't be surprised if the wind gets on it sooner than later!  Checking the surf, there's mostly small south southwest swell and barely any northwest windswell in the water.

That recipe is making for some some kinda crumbly lines, with a few fun workable corners.  A small wave board is probably your best bet!  Most spots in Newport Beach are seeing knee-to waist-high waves, with the top south facing beaches pulling a couple belly-high sets.

Taking a look at the tides, at 8:50 a.m it climbs up to a 3.7 high and then drops to a 1.8 low at 1:32 p.m and then pushes up once again to a 6.7 high at 7:58 p.m.

If you're going to get wet, throw on no more than a 3/2 fullsuit, with the water temperature hanging between 59 and 62 degrees.  Good luck out there!
