Waking up with the waves on Monday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report. Well, if you don't care about much size, then it might be worth getting wet. Overall, we're seeing mostly small energy, with a few playful waves coming through.
The conditions are fairly clean and glassy from the start, with a mixture of mostly residual west northwest swell and a little southwesterly energy in the water. That recipe is giving us some kinda soft sectiony lines, with a few racy corners.
Most Newport Beach spots are pulling knee-to waist-high waves, with those top combo breaks pulling some stomach-high sets.

At 5:09 a.m the tide climbed up to a 4.7 high which will have many spots pretty full and slow early on. The tide then drains out to a 0.0 low at 12:49 p.m.
If you're planning on paddling, do yourself a favor and throw on that thicker fullsuit and maybe the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
