Good Thursday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report. Well, can someone please get Coastal Eddie out of town? Yep he's sticking around for another day and messing with those conditions a bit!
We're already seeing some texture or bump on the water from the start. Taking a look at the waves. We've got some decreasing south southwest swell and very little northwest windswell in the water.
That recipe is offering this stretch of sand some drained out, crumbly and semi-wally lines, with a few workable shoulders. Most Newport Beach spots are pulling knee-to chest-high waves, with the standout south facing breaks seeing some shoulder-high sets.

Checking the tides, at 6:45 a.m it dropped to a negative 0.9 low which will have many spots in need of water early to mid morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 3.5 high at 1:22 p.m.
If you're going to get wet, the 3/2 fullsuit will do the job, with the water temperature hanging between 59 and 61 degrees. Good luck out there!
