Good Tuesday morning surfers, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report. Well, it's definitely worth grabbing a session before you head into work or class! Yep, the run of modest action is hanging around for another day.
Those conditions are starting off semi-clean, with some texture or bump on the water. Taking a look at the waves, we've got mainly new northwest windswell and some residual south southwest energy in the water.
That recipe is making for some fast and fairly crossed-up lines, with some good hollow sections at some of those top combo spots. Most Newport Beach breaks are pulling waist-to shoulder-high waves, with the focal points seeing some head-high plus sets.

At 5:25 a.m the tide climbed up to a 4.0 high and then drains out to a 0.5 low at 12:07 p.m. Your best bet is probably sometime mid to late morning, providing the wind doesn't pick up.
If you're going to get wet, throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit and possibly the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 58 and 59 degrees. See ya in the water!
