Good Tuesday morning surf enthusiasts, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report. Well, we're seeing a pretty good amount of action out there. Yep, there's plenty of playful size surf, with some larger sets coming through.
The conditions are starting off fairly clean, with some spots seeing a little texture on the surface. Let's keep our fingers crossed that the southwind hopefully doesn't pick up. As far as the surf goes, we're seeing a nice combination of swells in the water.
There's some south southwest swell and a fair amount of northwest windswell out there. That recipe is making for some racy sectiony lines, with plenty of good workable corners. Most Newport Beach spots are running about waist- to chest-high plus, with the top combo breaks pulling shoulder-high waves, with even a few larger sets.

Taking a look at the tides, at 10:03 a.m it drains out to a 0.7 low which will have several spots lacking water mid-morning. The tide then pushes back up to a 4.2 high at 5:11 p.m.
If you're going to grab some of the action, then you'll want to wear a 3/2 fullsuit with the water temperature averaging between 58 and 60 degrees. See ya in the water!
