Good Tuesday morning, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report. Well, if it has been a while since you've grabbed a session, then get out there. Yep, we're seeing more playful size waves on tap today.
We've got some clean and glassy conditions, with a combination of mainly west northwest swell and a little remnant south southwest energy.
That recipe is making for some racy sectiony lines, with plenty of workable corners. Most breaks in Newport Beach are seeing knee-to chest-high waves, with the top spots pulling an occasional bigger set.

At 7:27 a.m the tide climbs up to 6.5 high which will have things pretty slow early to mid morning. Your best bet...wait for that tide to turn around as it eventually drains out to a negative 1.3 low at 2:42 p.m.
If you're going to get out there, throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit and possibly the booties, with the water temp hanging between 55 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
