Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report. Well, it's definitley looking like a good day for the kids! Yep, it's still super small in this neck of the woods.
The conditions are fairly clean and glassy out there early on, with a combination of some very minor northwest swell and some little south southwest energy in the mix.
That's giving us some racy micro lines, with a few workable ones if you have a log or maybe a fish of some sort. Most Newport Beach spots are seeing ankle-to knee-high waves, with the focal points pulling thigh-high waves, with a few waist-high sets.

At 7:33 a.m the tide drops to a 0.4 low which will have many spots desperate for water early to mid-morning. The tide then climbs up to a 3.0 high at 1:40 p.m.
If you're planning on paddling, you'll want to break out at least a 3/2 fullsuit or a 4/3 and possibly the booties, with the water temperature hanging between 56 and 57 degrees. See ya in the water!
