Wave Check: Wednesday

The energy eases, but the conditions finally clean up!

Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report.  Well, if you don't care about a lot of size, then you'll want to get out there and grab a session.  Yep, the latest dose of energy is easing, but we're finally seeing some really nice conditions!

It's clean and glassy from the start, with mainly minor to decent remnant northwest windswell and barely any south southwesterly energy in the water.

That recipe is providing some kinda soft sectiony lines, with a few racy corners.  Most Newport Beach spots are pulling knee-to stomach-high waves, with the top combo breaks pulling chest-high sets.

At 6:31 a.m the tide climbed up to a 3.9 high and then drops to a 0.7 low at 12:48 p.m.  If you're going to get wet, then you'll want to wear at least a 3/2 fullsuit, with the water temperature averaging between 57 and 59 degrees.  See ya in the water!
