Waking up with the waves on Wednesday, I'm Surf Junkie Jeff with your Corona del Mar Patch surf report. Well if you like the small stuff, then get out and grab a session. Yep there's not a lot of energy out there, but we're seeing some good conditions.
We're starting things off with some light to moderate offshore winds which are likely to build in strength throughout the day. We've got mostly steep angled new northwest swell and maybe a hint of southwest energy in the water.
That recipe is making for some racy semi-wally lines, with a few fun corners to pick off. Most spots in Newport Beach are pulling knee-to waist-high waves, with the top combo breaks seeing an occasional plus set.

There's very little change with those tides...at 7:21 a.m it drops to a 1.6 low and then climbs back up to a 2.7 high at 12:44 p.m.
If you're going to get wet, throw on at least a 3/2 fullsuit and possibly the booties, with the water temperature averaging between 56 and 58 degrees. See ya in the water!
