Which Sculpture Should Stand In Newport Beach's Civic Center Park?
Newport Beach residents are urged to vote on the final selection of sculptures to be featured in the exhibition at Civic Center Park.
NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Newport Beach residents can have their say in which sculptures should stand in Civic Center Park for the next two years, as the City of Newport Beach Arts Commission announced the final selection of sculptures in Phase VIII of the rotating exhibit in the park.
The sculptures selected for the public vote were chosen by the commission, with works being evaluated in four different areas: artistic merit, durability, practicality and site appropriateness.
Residents can vote on which sculptures they'd like to see in Civic Center Park by visiting the city's website. Selected sculptures will be on loan to the City of Newport Beach for two years.
