Winter's Shortest Day Celebrated In Orange County
On Dec. 21, Orange County residents celebrate summer-like weather at the coast. Share your photos for a chance to be featured on #OCPatch.

NEWPORT BEACH, CA — Things aren't all bad in 2020, as seen here in this #OCPatch photo, shared by resident Sharee Nisha.
A weekend sunset as seen from Crystal Cove Beach shows that amid coronavirus spikes, there are still many bright spots along our beautiful coast in December.
It was an unseasonably warm Sunday, with highs in the 70s at the beaches to 80 inland and in most of the valley areas. A cold-weather advisory is in effect through Wednesday, when the humidity is expected to drop, creating hazardous fire conditions. In Orange County, highs along the coast will range from the high 60s to mid-70s, and a little warmer as you move inland.
