Woman Carjacked, Stabbed In Costa Mesa, Cops Seek Suspects
Police are asking for help finding two men who stabbed a woman in her car Tuesday.

COSTA MESA, CA — Costa Mesa police are seeking help to identify two men who are suspected in the early morning carjacking and stabbing of a 57-year-old woman, Tuesday.
According to the police, the woman was driving in her dark colored Toyota SUV along College Avenue, between Baker Street and Gisler Avenue, when two men confronted her at 4 a.m.
"The adult males were wearing hoodies and jeans," and carrying a knife, Costa Mesa Police Department spokeswoman Roxi Fyad said.

The victim momentarily stopped her SUV, and the suspects entered the vehicle by force. She was made to drive to a nearby location, close to Gisler Park before they fled the car and stole her personal belongings, Fyad said. Both men fled the scene on foot, and left the woman suffering "several non-threatening stab wounds."
The woman was able to drive herself to a nearby hospital, where she was admitted and was last known to be in stable condition.
