Woman Rams Police Cars During Stolen Vehicle Chase, Authorities Say
The woman was arrested on Wednesday in OC on suspicion of fleeing officers in a stolen vehicle and ramming police cars during the pursuit.
COSTA MESA, CA — A woman was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of fleeing officers in a stolen vehicle and ramming police cars during the pursuit, the Costa Mesa Police Department reported.
According to authorities, Costa Mesa police were called at around 12:45 p.m. to assist another agency in pulling over a stolen vehicle.
"The female suspect driver had rammed into law enforcement vehicles when she began to flee from them," a CMPD news statement read.

Authorities said a Costa Mesa motor sergeant following the stolen vehicle was involved in a separate crash with another vehicle at Harbor Boulevard and Nutmeg Place. The officer suffered minor injuries.
Police eventually located the wanted driver in the nearby Costa Mesa Shopping Square. She was identified as 29-year-old Destiny Sherer and her residence was not released.
