Year Of The Volunteer In Corona Del Mar: Residents Association

Mayor Will O'Neill will recognize the Corona Del Mar Residents Association as a recipient of his Year Of Volunteer Initiative.

CORONA DEL MAR, CA — On Tuesday, the Corona del Mar Residents Association will be recognized by Mayor Will O’Neill as one of the recipients of his Year of the Volunteer Initiative.

The association was formed in 1987 by resident volunteers with the goal of having meaningful and productive engagement with City leaders. This group is a resident advocacy organization for all who call Corona del Mar their home, regardless of whether their residence is located in the Village, in a planned community or an apartment home.

In working with City leaders, they provide a unified voice for its membership through its member outreach accomplished by timely newsletters, surveys, meetings and events.

Mayor O’Neill will acknowledge the association, its volunteer board and its membership at the February 25 City Council Meeting, starting at 7 p.m. in the Civic Center Council Chambers. This is a public meeting and all are welcome to attend.
