Get ready to celebrate Independence Day the Horsetown USA way with old-fashioned, FREE family fun on July 4!

Patriotic Picnic in the Park
Bring your chairs and blankets, and enjoy live music, crafts and contests for the whole family, including a horseshoe tournament, picnic games and the annual bike/trike parade and decorating contest! Prizes will be awarded to the most patriotic participants.
- Time: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
- Location: Pikes Peak Park (97 Sixth Street)
- Refreshments: While attendees may bring their own picnic snacks, food and drinks will be available for purchase.
- Event Protocol: No alcohol or BBQs are allowed. Ice chests are subject to search. Pets must be on a leash.

- Dessert Dance: 10 a.m.
- Family Ice Block Melting Challenge: 11 a.m.
- Bike/Trike Decorating Contest: 11:30 a.m.
- Dessert Dance: 12 p.m.
- Family Scavenger Hunt: 12:30 p.m.
- Family Costume Contest: 1 p.m.
- Dessert Dance: 1:15 p.m.
- Water Balloon Toss: 1:30 p.m.
Cost
- Parking and admission are free. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
