1 Injured in North Hollywood House Fire

One person was hospitalized with serious injuries from a fire at a home in North Hollywood Tuesday morning.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA - One person was seriously hurt in a blaze that damaged a home in North Hollywood Tuesday morning.

The call came into the Los Angeles Fire Department at 9:44 a.m. Tuesday, according to authorities. Firefighters arrived at the house on the 6200 block of Fulcher Avenue to find the house in flames and one person in need of medical attention.

The injured person was rushed to the hospital and the fire was extinguished within 15 minutes. Authorities have not identified the victim.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
