$10,000 Reward Offered for Stolen Moving Truck Filled with Sports Equipment

A moving truck filled with $375,000 in sporting equipment was stolen in the Pacoima area.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- A $10,000 reward was offered today for information that helps find a stolen moving truck containing about $375,000 in sports apparel and other items.

The 26-foot-long yellow truck, with Penske Truck Rental emblazoned on the side -- was stolen sometime between Sunday night and Monday morning from where it was parked near Herrick Avenue and Daventry Street, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

The reward was offered by the owner of the stolen items, who had locked the rear roll-up door with a stainless steel master lock and secured the steering wheel with a grey twist steering wheel lock, according to the LAPD.
The 2014 International commercial truck had Indiana license plates, license number 2162272.
