2 People Seriously Injured In Crash Near North Hollywood

One person had to be freed from a vehicle had flipped onto its side Sunday morning in a crash that injured three people.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Three people were rushed to area hospitals following a two-vehicle collision in Valley Village Sunday, fire officials said.

Two people were seriously injured while another had minor injuries from the crash,the Los Angeles Fire Department reported. Firefighters arrived on the scene at 10:29 a.m. to the 124000 block of West Magnolia Boulevard, where they found a vehicle on its side with one person trapped inside. The person was quickly freed by emergency crews.

The crash prompted the closure of one or more lanes on Magnolia Boulevard, between Whitsett Avenue and Laurel Canyon Boulevard. Lanes were closed while Los Angeles police officers investigated the incident, LAFD officials said.
