3 Car Hit & Run Kills Pedestrian On Sepulveda Boulevard

Witnesses say they saw three cars hit a pedestrian, leaving the person for dead at a Sepulveda Boulevard intersection.

VAN NUYS, CA — A person is dead today after being struck by as many as three cars whose drivers failed to stop and render aid Friday in Van Nuys.

The person was left for dead at about 9:45 p.m. Friday at the intersection of Sepulveda Boulevard and Wyandotte Street. Witnesses told police they saw three vehicles strike the driver without stopping, according to Officer Drake Madison of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Madison said. The sex and age of the victim was not disclosed.

Witnesses told police three vehicles were involved -- a 2015 or 2016 white Toyota Corolla with front-end damage, a 2012 to 2015 Honda Pilot and a white Chevrolet Cruze with damage to its windshield, Madison said.
