3 Hurt in North Hollywood Explosion: Updated
One man is in critical condition and two others were injured in an explosion at a home in North Hollywood suspected to be a grow house.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — One person was critically injured and two others were hurt in an explosion Wednesday at a home in North Hollywood.
The explosion occurred just before 9 a.m. on the the 6700 block of North Simpson Avenue in what authorities suspect is a possible “grow house.” Paramedics transported a 24-year-old man in critical condition with burns on his body. Two other men, a 21-year-old and a 55-year-old were treated and released at the scene, according to Los Angeles fire department spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
Two neighboring homes were damaged in the explosion. Building inspectors have been notified to determine the structural integrity of the home.

Police are investigating the incident.
