4 Fun, Pet-Friendly Outings For You & Your Dog

LOS ANGELES COUNTY, CA – It's always nice to find social activities where dogs -- or even cats! -- are welcomed. We've rounded up four coming up nearby. Put the dates on Fido's calendar!

No. 1: On Sunday, Sept. 24, the 19th Annual Wiggle Waggle Walk & Family Festival at Brookside Park at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. It's a fun-filled community dog walk and fundraiser for the whole family with contests, demonstrations, vendor booths, food trucks and entertainment.

No. 2: Planning holiday photos and cards may be weeks away. But why wait? Especially when the photos are free and done by a professional with a donation/contribution, from you, for Long Beach Animal Care Services. Plus, food trucks, and a bounce house for the kids! Saturday, Sept. 30: Free Family Holiday Portraits - Bring Pet-Item Donation for Animal Services.

No. 3: We love this pet-friendly fundraiser in Altadena. All-you-can-eat sliders plus brews for you and a pet-treat station for your pooch! On Saturday, Sept. 30: Burgers, Barks & Beer - Bring Your Pup!

No. 4: All well-behaved critters, great and small, are invited to this one on Sunday, Oct. 15 in the Belmont Shore-Long Beach area: Interfaith Blessing of the Animals. "A battalion of bulldogs" and other special animal guests expected at this popular, annual sunset event.
