8 Injured in Street Racing Hit and Run in North Hollywood
A three-car crash - blamed on a street racing car that fled the scene - sent two children and adults to the hospital in North Hollywood.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA - A car crash tonight in North Hollywood - blamed on a street racing vehicle that left the scene -- injured eight people, including one who was cut from the wreckage.
Four of those injured in the crash about 8:25 p.m. in the 11000 block of West Victory Boulevard were in fair condition when taken to a hospital, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
They were 5-year-old and 15-year-old boys, a 20-year-old woman and a 30- year-old man, she said.

Four other people declined hospital transport, she said.
The victims were in two crashed vehicles. A third, which investigators believe was street racing and caused the wreck, left the scene, a sergeant from the Los Angeles Police Department's North Hollywood Station told a news videographer at the location.
