85-Year-Old Woman With Dementia Last Seen In Toluca Lake

Authorities are asking for help finding a critically missing 85-year-old woman who went missing Wednesday.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities and the loved ones of an 85-year-old woman with dementia who went missing in the Toluca Lake area are asking for the public's help in finding her Thursday.

Soghra Karimi was last seen about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday near the 4500 block of Arcola Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

"She has been diagnosed with dementia," an LAPD statement said. "Soghra does not operate a vehicle and was last seen on foot."

Karimi, who is white, has brown hair and eyes. She stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts was urged to call the LAPD North Hollywood Station at 818-754-8409, 877-LAPD-247, or Crime Stoppers at 800- 222-TIPS. Tipsters may also use the website www.lacrimestoppers.org.
