From Buster Keaton’s The General to the epic Gone with the Wind to Ken Burn’s nine-part documentary, each new Hollywood production revived interest in the Civil War. What were some of the best? The worst? Hear from filmmakers and historians as they share their stories. After lunch, venture inside the museum to see the Autry’s special exhibition, Empire and Liberty: The Civil War and the West(museum admission required).
