Mayflower Club Murder Mystery Unfolds Tonight

Well, not literally (we hope), but there will be a murder mystery dinner presented today and Sunday, Murder at Ellesmere Gold Club, where you can solve the crime while enjoying a three course meal.

If you have never been to the Mayflower Club in North Hollywood before, columnist and Patch writer Tiffany Kelly and she can perhaps describe it best:

The house, a former synagogue, has held the British-American social and networking club since 1965. The club, started by post-World War II veterans, was created as a place for British expatriates, who had relocated to the San Fernando Valley or other parts of Los Angeles, to socialize and form a community with other Brits.

The club is a nonprofit organization whose members range from British-Americans to those just interested in British culture. They organize and host various events throughout the year like today's murder mystery dinner, , balls, parties, pub nights, card games and holiday activities. Members receive access to events and activities and receive the club's monthly magazine, but many events are also open to the public, like todays murder mystery dinner.
