NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — 24 Hour Fitness has reopened following a remodel that added expanded strength-training areas, new equipment and a dedicated recovery space.
The company celebrated the reopening of its North Hollywood Super-Sport club Monday at 5300 Lankershim Blvd.
The remodeled gym features a more open floor plan, refreshed workout areas and an expanded free-weight section, according to 24 Hour Fitness. A new turf zone provides additional space for strength, conditioning and performance-focused workouts, according to the company.
The club also added Recovery24, a dedicated recovery area equipped with Hyperice Normatec compression therapy devices and Human Touch massage chairs.
"Every remodel is an opportunity to create a club that better supports the way our members work out today," District Manager Wendy Wootton told Patch in a statement.
Wootton said the expanded strength areas and recovery amenities were designed to give members more flexibility and improve the overall workout experience.
