Bob Barker Hospitalized After Falling and Hitting His Head

The retired "The Price Is Right" host has been hospitalized after tripping on a curb in the Hollywood Hills and hitting his head.

Retired “The Price Is Right” host Bob Barker was injured in a fall near his Hollywood Hills home today, police said.

Officers who happened to be in the area saw Barker, 91, trip over a curb about 10:30 a.m. in the 1800 block of Outpost Drive, said Officer Ricardo Hernandez of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Media Relations Section.

Barker hit his head and sustained lacerations, Hernandez said.

The officers called an ambulance and Barker was taken in stable condition to a hospital, Hernandez said.

Barker received stitches at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center before being released, according to the Los Angeles Times.
