Bomb Scare Closes Van Nuys Courthouse
The LAPD Bomb Squad is investigating a suspicious package outside the courthouse at 6200 block of Sylmar Avenue: BREAKING.

LOS ANGELES, CA — The Superior Court building in Van Nuys and surrounding area remain under investigation this morning as the Los Angeles Police Department bomb squad investigates a suspicious package.
The courthouse and the area around the 6200 block of Sylmar Avenue are closed. Residents and drivers are advised to avoid the area.
Police responded to a report of a suspicious package left unattended near the courthouse shortly after 9 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
