'Book'd in Burbank' Launches 2016 Season in NoHo Arts District

Book’d in Burbank launches its fourth season as “The Ultimate Bibliophiles’ Night Out” on Thursday, January 28, 2016, 8:00 P.M. – 9:30 P.M. with a venue change to The Group Repertory/Lonny Chapman Theatre in North Hollywood.

Since its start in 2013, Book’d in Burbank has exclusively hosted its evening of author readings and literary entertainment at Theatre Banshee in the Magnolia Park section of Burbank. Following the theatre’s departure from Burbank in December 2015, Book’d has temporarily relocated to North Hollywood.

“Although we’re sad to have lost our home at Theatre Banshee after three seasons, Book’d is excited to deliver bookish good times to the NoHo Arts District in January,” says Liz Donatelli, Liz D Publicity & Promotions Book Publicity and Special Events Director. “Book’d plans to return to Burbank in late 2016. In the meanwhile, we hope that our fans enjoy the new venue.”

Book’d’s 2016 season premiere will feature author readings by: Ellen Byron, author of cozy mystery Plantation Shudders (A Cajun Country Mystery), Kyra Davis, New York Times bestselling author of contemporary romance Just One Lie, Darren Hackett, the debut author of Amazon bestselling crime fiction novel The Antiquity, Michelle Levy, the critically acclaimed debut YA (young adult) author of Not After Everything, Nicole Maggi, author of YA (young adult) thriller The Forgetting and Rebekah Weatherspoon, the award-winning author of multi-cultural romance novella So Sweet.
