Booshkee Children's Resale Shop Celebrating Grand Opening

"Booshkee is a social enterprise that accepts donations and trades from local moms/pops. 30% of our sales are directed to Child Help," said owner Trish Santulan in an email to Patch. "We will also be sponsoring events and speaking engagements that will raise awareness and prevention against child abuse. I'm a mom of 4 - I know the importance of spreading this knowledge and I also know the importance of being thrifty."

Booshkee is also opening in conjunction with , which Santulan also owns and will be located next door. This will be the second location for Giving Tree, which also has a location in Granada Hills. Giving Tree Realty is a full-service real estate company that donates a portion of every sales commission to charity.

"We are expanding and chose NoHo to be our 2nd branch because we love the city and its folks," Santulan said.
