Brush Fire Breaks Out Along 210 Freeway In Sylmar

LOS ANGELES, CA — A pair of small brush fires are burning alongside the Foothill (210) Freeway in Sylmar amid windy conditions Wednesday evening.

Los Angeles Fire Department firefighters responded to reports of flames in the area of 12665 Foothill Blvd. in Sylmar along the northbound side of the freeway shortly before 7 p.m. A second spot erupted across the freeway shortly after, according to LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.

Los Angeles County Firefighters were also en route with a full brush fire response, Stewart reported.
