About Us

Non-Profit Organizations

Friends of the North Hollywood Library is a nonprofit organization that accepts and manages donations of books and media; raises, manages and provides funds to staff for books and materials; sponsors and supports programs for patrons and the public; engages in volunteer activities such as book sales; and advocates publicly for the library, since 1981.
Anyone may join for an annual membership which starts at $5 for seniors, and volunteers are always welcome to assist. Inquire at the library.
Housed in a 1929 Spanish Colonial Revival-style building within a public park, the North Hollywood Amelia Earhart Library serves Toluca Lake, Universal City, Valley Village, North Hollywood, and surrounding communities. It is open to all, seven days a week.
