4 Tuesdays of twerk technique in North Hollywood, then we film the choreography outside, group and solo. Beginners welcome.
Most girls in my class have never twerked before. We start with how your body moves, and by the end of the month you're dancing full choreography on camera.
THE PLAN
Nov 3, Body & Basics: body practices, posture, the bounce foundation and isolation.
Nov 10, Isolations & Control: hip isolations, jiggle, whining and the transitions between them.
Nov 17, Floor, Acro & Choreography: floorwork and acro, then we start the choreography.
Nov 24, Choreography & Shoot Prep: the full choreography, group formations and your solo.
Sat, Nov 28, The Shoot: we film outside. Group video, your solo and a short freestyle. The video is yours.
DETAILS
Tuesdays, 8 to 10 PM. 4 classes, 8 hours, plus the shoot.
AMP Rehearsal, Studio 102, 5259 Lankershim Blvd, North Hollywood.
15 spots max. Beginners welcome, dancers will be challenged. 18+.
Bring clothes you feel sexy in, sneakers or socks, water, a hair tie.
