I do not know what is worse - that the district has held on to these campuses since the early 80's, missing the height of a few real estate booms, or that Tamar Galatzan is excited about the "opportunity" of charter schools taking over these sites. She should consider every student who enrolls in a charter school a symbol of her failure as a School Board member. If she was responsive to parents they would not feel the need to leave the district run schools.
