Corvette Plows Into Hollywood Burbank Airport Fence, Injuring 2
The car took out 25 feet of fence at the airport, and the crash critically injured two people.
BURBANK, CA — Two people were critically injured when a Corvette plowed through a fence along Hollywood Burbank Airport Thursday evening.
Both crash victims were rushed to the hospital, and it wasn't immediately clear if both people survived. The crash happened just before 10 p.m. along the western boundary of the airport on Vineland Avenue, just south of Sherman Way. The Corvette took out about 25 feet of fence, according to Lucy M. Burghdorf, Hollywood Burbank Airport's director of public affairs and communications.
ABC7 reported the person was seriously injured and may have been killed in the crash.

The cause of the crash was under investigation.
