Game: Ring Toss

Not the one around your bathtub. Although you’ll want to toss that one too.

Entertainment: Third-Grade Singers

The popular Miss Kip will be leading third-graders in Bette Midler’s From a Distance … which is where you’ll be sitting, behind all those third-grad grade parents and their video cameras.

Attraction: Fun Station Express—Toddler

Like a 3D Thomas the Tank Engine–only mute.

Colfax Charter Elementary School is highlighting these daily features on its Facebook and Twitter pages, which are linked to the school website. Anyone who replies, retweets, or leaves a comment on Patch will be entered into a daily drawing to win a Colfax World Fair T-shirt and 10 tickets to the fair. Winners will be announced the day after.

The Colfax World Fair takes place June 4 from noon to 7 p.m. at Colfax Charter Elementary School, 11724 Addison St., Valley Village. This is Colfax’s most profitable annual fundraiser, and all proceeds pay for student enrichment as well as traditional programs that have been slashed by LAUSD budget cuts.
