Debbie Reynolds Collection Returning to Paley Center
The Hollywood icon, who recently made $23 million in a single auction of some of her memorabilia collection, will be returning to the Paley Center for a multimedia exhibition.

Debbie Reynolds recently made an estimated $23 million at a single auction at the Paley Center in Beverly Hills when she sold off some 600 pieces of her collection of Hollywood memorabilia.
The L.A. Times reported today that the Hollywood icon will return to the Paley on July 23 for a multimedia exhibition called "Debbie Reynolds: The Exhibit," which will feature more items from the collection, including costumes worn by Frank Sinatra, Katharine Hepburn and Marilyn Monroe.
Before the first auction, Reynolds was reported to have some 5,000 pieces in her collection, the crown jewel of which was Marilyn Monroe's white dress from the film The Seven Year Itch, which Hollywood Treasure "the most valuable costume in the world." It sold for $4.6 million. Also sold was the first pair of ruby slippers used in The Wizard of Oz.

Reynolds, a Hollywood starlet who appeared in many hit films, including Singin' in the Rain, grew up in Burbank and later started the in North Hollywood.
