Deli Replaces Shuttered Patagonia

Gourmand Deli Market has opened up shop where Argentinian restaurant Patagonia used to be until it

The new deli opened its doors on Aug. 1 and is located inside a busy strip mall at 11009 Burbank Boulevard.

Gourmand specializes in meats including fish and poultry. A variety of Meditteranean spices and seasonings as well as homemade dipping sauces like hummus and baba ghanoush are also available.

The store is the first business venture for owners Hovhannes Hovhannisyan and Davit Manunchyan.

Patagonia's outdoor seating area remains, but Hovhannisyan said there are no plans to add any tables or chairs.

Operatings hours are 7:45 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. Monday through Saturday. The deli opens at 7:45 a.m. and closes at 5:45 p.m on Sundays.
