Domestic Violence Suspect Arrested In North Hollywood

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA -- A man wanted on suspicion of domestic violence in Thousand Oaks was arrested Friday after a sheriff's pursuit ended in North Hollywood.

The domestic violence report was made Thursday, according to the Ventura County Sheriff's Department. Deputies began pursuing the man Friday on the Ventura (101) Freeway after he was spotted.

About 1 p.m. Friday the driver was seen heading east in the west San Fernando Valley in a Honda Civic with at least one Ventura County sheriff's SUV in pursuit.

The suspect then sped through Encino, Van Nuys and Studio on the 101 Freeway before getting off the freeway near Vineland Avenue and headed into North Hollywood.

The suspect pulled into a parking lot at the Gallery Apartments in North Hollywood, where he was ordered out of his car by deputies who caught up with him.

The man spent around 10 minutes in his car before surrendering, NBC 4 News reported.
