DWP Outage Leaves 10,000 Without Power

Los Angeles Department of Water & Power​ crews are working to restore power to roughly 10,000 customers scattered across LA.

LOS ANGELES, CA — About 10,000 Los Angeles Department of Water & Power customers were without power Friday night across the city.

The Los Angeles Department of Water & Power says field crews are working to restore service. The outage has affected thousands in the Brentwood, Toluca Lake, Arlington Heights and Pico-Union areas.

DWP officials estimate Toluca Lake residents can get their power back by 1:30 a.m., but Brentwood residents could be in the dark until 5 a.m., according to the DWP outage map.
