Ballot Initiative Reform Policy Briefing: A Community Perspective

You’ve heard the politicos’ perspective on ballot initiative reform. Now, hear what the people have to say! In 2011, the Greenlining Institute launched a 9 month research project to identify just how flawed our ballot initiative system really is, and what impact it is having on California’s diverse communities. 

This research consisted of two public opinion polls and one statewide listening tour composed of 17 community sessions across 14 California cities with more than 215 diverse California voters.
